The Dream Start Business Report Competition introduced the growth stories of children who have been transformed into the Dream Start project, including the case of the head of the Center Son So-ye, and deeply moved the participants. To meet these social needs, Our Children's Hospital is a specialized hospital for children and adolescents, providing comprehensive and sustainable medical and welfare services to children in communities with low access to medical care, and taking the lead in improving community health and child welfare. In particular, the Strong Center has built up strong trust in the local community through various projects such as support for children from multicultural families, connection with treatment for children with disabilities, and parental counseling programs as well as the Dream Start project.
Son So-ye, the director of the Center, has led the Strong Center of Our Children's Hospital since 2014 and has planned and implemented various programs through public welfare projects such as the Dream Start project.
In particular, it provides regular health checkups and customized medical counseling to children from low-income and vulnerable families, and has played a major role in informing the importance of early intervention and preventive health care.
Director of the Center, Son So-ye said, "The health of children does not end simply with medical intervention, but is directly linked to the growth of families, communities, and even society as a whole"We all believe that we can create a bright future for our country only when we all work together on the health and growth of our children. We will continue to work with local communities to help more children grow healthy and work harder to provide high-quality medical services."
Chairman Chung Sung-kwan said, "Efforts to improve the health and welfare of local children will continue in the future." As a specialized hospital for children and adolescents, the Children's Medical Foundation will continue to communicate and cooperate with the local community and do its best to create an environment in which children can grow healthy and happy" he said.
