A woman in her 30s in China was shocked when she was diagnosed with pregnancy while visiting a hospital to treat high blood pressure.

According to Chinese media such as Sohu, A (36), who lives in Zhejiang Province, has been married for about nine years but has no children.

Having been diagnosed with 'polycystic ovarian syndrome' in the past, she thought she could not conceive due to the effects.

Sweet and tall and fat, she recently went to the hospital with severe abdominal pain and facial swelling and her blood pressure was too high.

Systolic blood pressure reached 190 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure reached 110 mmHg, and urine test showed proteinuria.

Doctors recommended immediate hospitalization.

Accordingly, the couple decided to go to the Xinjiang Department of People's Hospital in Zhejiang Province and receive inpatient treatment.

The doctor recommended that she undergo an ultrasound examination after finding out that she had not had her period in almost a year. She didn't worry much because her period was irregular before. However, as a result of the test, surprisingly, she was 34 weeks pregnant.

The couple, who had never thought of getting pregnant, were elated.

However, for a moment, the gynecologist said that he had serious preeclampsia.

Preeclampsia is a disease in which hypertension and proteinuria occur after 20 weeks of pregnancy. It is also commonly referred to as pregnancy poisoning. Severe preeclampsia can lead to serious complications or life-threatening for both the mother and fetus.

As a result, he immediately decided to have a cesarean section, and gave birth to a son weighing about 4 kg within four hours of pregnancy diagnosis.

Fortunately, both the mother and fetus were in good health.
