On the 30th of last month, Kakao Games held an offline event on Sebit Island on the Han River where visitors can enjoy game experiences and mini-games prior to the start of early access to 'Pass of Exile 2'. Sebit Island was filled with game-themed event spaces, and 100 users participating in early access were drawn and invited to the event.
Inside the venue, there is a PC experience zone where you can demonstrate the game yourself and an event zone where you can indirectly experience the contents of 'Pass of Exile 2'. The event zone ran a variety of programs, including various arcade games, common sense quizzes, and finding the same picture.
Jonathan Rogers, general director of Grinding Gear Games, also visited the venue to introduce the game to users and have a Q&A session. The Q&A session was broadcast live on the official YouTube channel 'Path of Exile' and was also broadcast live on overseas Twitch streamer broadcasts and watched by more than 30,000 people (including global).
Jonathan Rogers, the general director of the event, said, "I wanted to meet the Korean fans of "Path of Exile" in person and tell them the detailed story of the game"As long as you've waited, I'll show you a more tense game with much more advanced action and graphics."
'Path of Exile 2' built the action slash genre by adding the control fun of the action RPG to the hack-and-slash nature of the previous 'Path of Exile'. It features vast contents such as a total of 6 acts (act), 600 types of monsters and 100 types of bosses, 12 jobs and a total of 36 types of former classes, and a skill system that can be customized and used as desired. Both 'Path of Exile' and 'Path of Exile 2' will continue to offer separate expansion packs, and in-game purchases will be shared between the two games.
Meanwhile, 'Pass of Exile 2' will be released globally simultaneously with early access at 4 a.m. on the 7th.
