Korea University Medical Center Wins "2024 Cloud Industry Grand Prize" Outstanding Introduction Agency

Korea University Medical Center has been publicly recognized as a medical institution that has established a top-notch cloud system in Korea.
Korea University Medical Center was selected as an excellent introduction institution at the '2024 Cloud Industry Awards' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT at the SETEC Convention Hall in Gangnam-gu on the 10th.
The award ceremony, designed to discover cases of developing or utilizing excellent domestic cloud-related products and services with global competitiveness, selected two excellent companies that developed cloud services and one excellent institution that introduced them.
In 2021, Korea University Medical Center introduced the cloud-based precision medical hospital information system (PHIS) for the first time in Korea in 2021, was selected as a medical data-oriented hospital, ranked second overall in the world's largest medical IT association, the HIMSS, and acquired EMRAM Stage 6 certification in October this year.
Vice-President of Medical Affairs Yoon Eul-sik said "A fast and efficient medical cloud system is an important foundation for implementing future medicine through big data and artificial intelligence. We will do our best to provide the most innovative and sophisticated medical services by utilizing the hospital information system recognized as the highest level of recognition."
