The 'Proud Hanyang Journalist Award' is given annually to graduates of Hanyang University Graduate School of Journalism and Information by selecting alumni who have excelled in the Graduate School of Journalism and Information by carrying out various activities in each field.
Kwon Tae-sun is said to have contributed to enhancing the value of the Korean media by serving as an editor of Hankyoreh, CEO of Huffington Post Korea, and director of KBS. He also served as chairman of the Civil Society Development Committee, co-representative of the Environmental Movement Union, and chairman of the Lee Young-hee Foundation, helping our society develop maturely.

Park Jin-hyung, the publisher of Sports Chosun's CEO, has been in Sports Chosun for 33 years, served as the editor-in-chief and head of the management planning department, and is currently the publisher of the CEO. At the same time, he serves as a member of the Sports Fair Committee of the Korea Baseball Association, contributing greatly to the development of the domestic sports media and sports industry.
The award ceremony will be held on December 4 at 7 p.m. at Heritage Hall on the 6th floor of Hanyang University Alumni Hall (Majoro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul).
Meanwhile, Hanyang University's Graduate School of Journalism and Information has produced more than 1,200 graduates working in key domestic fields such as media, culture, politics, and economy since its opening in 1983, establishing itself as the best special graduate school in Korea.
