A Chinese man was arrested for making his fake wanted flyer and posting it online.

Wang, who claims to be from Chinyuan County in Changzhou, Shaanxi Province, recently posted a message on social media titled 'Wear Order' along with a photo of himself, according to Chinese media such as Sohu Dotcom and Fuzhou News.

He also extorted 30 million yuan (about W5.8 billion) from a company on Nov. 10 and has a machine gun and 500 bullets. You can be compensated 30,000 yuan (about 5.8 million won) if you report it" left a message.

His post made headlines in less than 24 hours with 350,000 views and 2,500 'likes'.

Local police, who found the unusual post, launched an investigation and arrested him just hours later.

The police said "He was not carrying any illegal weapons, such as guns or ammunition"And there was also no fact that he had extorted money." Everything he claimed was false.

He admitted to manipulating the wanted list because his life was hopeless and boring.

The police arrested him for creating and disseminating false information and took 'criminal compulsory measures'.

Criminal compulsory measures refer to measures that limit the personal freedom of suspects, including detention, arrest, bail and monitoring of their lives for a specified period.

A police official said "Online is not beyond the reach of the law. Both fabricating and spreading stories are criminal acts. Anyone who makes up scaremongering or spreads scaremongering will face legal punishment."

Netizens posted comments such as "The stupidest person on the news this year", "I can't help but laugh that I wanted you to be caught by the real police as you wish".
