'Swing Days'Inviting 300 independence fighters'It's the first time I've seen such a musical?R' rave reviews

The musical 'Swing Days_Code Name A' (hereinafter Swing Days), created based on the great independence operation 'Napco Project' that we didn't know, invited 300 independence fighters with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs to have a meaningful time.

The musical 'Swing Days', which opened on the 19th and is cruising amid favorable reviews, was created based on a napco project secretly prepared by OSS (the predecessor of the U.S. CIA) for the independence of Korea. The operation, which consisted of 19 patriotic Koreans with the goal of carrying out the operation on Aug. 18, fell through on Aug. 15 when Japan declared its surrender. And the musical 'Swing Days' began with a record of a man here, code-named A.

The production company All That Story, which planned the invitation of independence fighters from the start of the production, had a meaningful time to invite 300 independence fighters and their descendants seven times from the 29th of last month to the 5th in cooperation with the ESG team of Yuhan Corporation and the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.

In particular, the descendants of Byun Joon-ho and Park Hyung-moo, who participated in Napco's independence fighters, were invited to take commemorative photos and listen to their impressions after watching the performance.

Byun Do-sang, a liberal journalist and great-grandchild of former American anti-Japanese activist Patriot Byeon Joon-ho, said, `I've never seen such a musical before. I took a picture of my grandfather's portrait, and it was nice to see him in person," he said. In addition, Park Rae-ok, the child of Patriot Park Hyung-moo, who was a student prisoner and participated in the Napco project, said "Thank you for making this musical based on the facts. I was deeply moved, and if I have a favor to ask, I hope more people will watch this performance" He left a personal wish with his feelings.

The Napco project, in which information about the project and its participating agents was released to the world only in the 1990s, is actually an unfamiliar independence movement to the general public. As a result, there were not many related materials left, so he tried to inform the audience of the forgotten independence movement along with the work, such as working on a portrait of a napko agent from the beginning of the production and exhibiting it in the theater.

The musical 『Swing Days』, which not only records an audience rating of 9.7 points with unprecedented workmanship as a large creative musical, but also writes a new history of creative musicals amid the success of standing ovations in each episode, will be performed at the Chungmu Art Center Grand Theater until February 9 next year.
