New Rootshooter Game 'First Descendants', 'PS Partner Awards'Winner

Hosted by Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), the 'PS Partner Awards' is an annual award show that selects the best PS (PlayStation) games that have achieved great success in the world among games developed in Japan and Asia. 'First Descendants' was selected as the winner of the 'Partner AWARD' award, which is given to games that achieved remarkable performance, with top worldwide sales in a total of six categories.
'First Descendants' is a next-generation global rootshooter game, featuring high-quality visuals and gun-based spectacular combat implemented by Unreal Engine 5, collaborative shooting (CO-OP) that highlights the fun of action, and RPG play that expands the user experience. Since its launch, North American and European users accounted for 70% of the total users, and the console utilization rate among the service platforms is about 60%, making significant achievements with new global-oriented multi-platforms, the company said.
Lee Beom-jun, general producer of Nexon Games, said, "It is an honor to receive the 'PS Partner Award' thanks to global users who play "First Descendants" on PS. "We will continue to do our best to update content so that we can present in-depth game performance and fun unique to "First Descendants"." he said.
Meanwhile, 'First Descendants' is set to update Season 2 'Void Tracking' on the 5th. Large-scale content will be added, including new heirs (characters) 'Killen' and 'Ultimate Sharen', new dungeons 'Void Vessle', and end content 'Deep Boyd Interceptions'. It will also present a 'Successor Exchange Special Token' and 'Energy Actives' that can acquire 'Ultimate Bunny' through 'Winter Festival Attendance Event' until January 9th next year.
