A man who was attempting to open the airliner's emergency exit door was restrained by the crew and other passengers.

According to Thai media, including Channel 7, a Thai man began running down the corridor screaming on a Thai Airways flight from Taiwan to Bangkok, Thailand on the 19th.

As surprised passengers were looking at him, he suddenly attempted to manipulate and open the emergency door.




The crew and passengers restrained him and tied him up with a string.

Four hours later, the plane was able to land safely at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok.

The man, who was questioned by the airport police, explained that he tried to escape after seeing the plane crash in advance.

The man's family said "He was suffering from a mental illness, but he seems to have forgotten the timing of taking his medication."

The reason he boarded a flight to Thailand was because the company he worked in Taiwan judged that it was difficult to perform his job given his mental health status.




When drug reactions such as drugs were also negative, the police completed the investigation and released him.
