In India, a thief stole a hospital oxygen supply pipe, so newborns were threatened with life.

According to local media such as Times Now, someone cut and stole a pipe supplying oxygen to the neonatal intensive care unit at a Rajgar regional hospital in Madhya Pradesh, India, on the night of the 17th.

This stopped the flow of oxygen to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

At the time, there were more than 20 infants in the ward, 12 of whom were dependent on an oxygen respirator.

The medical staff noticed that something was wrong as the newborn began to cry.

In addition, the alarm system in the treatment room sounded and the oxygen supply was stopped.

Hospital officials examined the pipes outside and found that some were missing.

Officials rushed to restore the supply, starting the spare oxygen supply.

Fortunately, there were no casualties due to the hospital's prompt response. Local police said they were trying to identify the thief and would find out who was involved.
