According to foreign media such as the Daily Mail, large banyan trees and ash trees collapsed due to strong winds at around 12 p.m. on the 10th (local time) in the famous tourist attraction 'Monkey Forest' in Bali, Indonesia.
The tree hit tourists nearby, killing two people, a 42-year-old Korean tourist and a 32-year-old French national tourist, after being taken to the hospital. In addition, other tourists, including a 43-year-old Korean woman, were injured and treated.
CCTV footage at the time showed terrified tourists running away when a large tree fell.
Among those who fled the danger were tourists who brought strollers.
Another video showed the road completely covered with rubble and the injured victim being treated.
Local media pointed out that trees with weakened roots during the rainy season should have been logging in advance.
Monkey Forest officials explained to police that the tree was in good health and that regular monitoring and pruning had taken place.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
