A two-year-old son's handgun was fired, killing the child's mother.

According to NBC and other U.S. media, police reported a gun accident at a house in Fresno, California, on the afternoon of the 6th (local time).

The dispatched police and rescue teams found Jesseña Mina (22), who was shot in the chest and fell down, and took her to the hospital, but eventually died.



According to the investigation, Mina and her boyfriend Andrew Sanchez, 18, were resting in bed at the time and were found to have been fired while a child was playing with a pistol on the table.

The owner of the pistol belonged to Sanchez and the safety lock was unlocked.



The victim's older sister "Mina also has an eight-month-old daughter"This tragic thing happened entirely because of my brother's boyfriend," he said. She added: "My younger brother warned my boyfriend not to keep his firearm at home" he complained.

She then said, `Now my oldest nephew will live in guilt and trauma for the rest of his life.' `My boyfriend who assisted me in such a thing should be severely punished," he added.



Police arrested Sanchez on charges of neglect of gun crime storage and child abuse.
