Emergency services were dispatched when a man weighing 420kg was too heavy to hold a funeral.

According to local media such as Harian Metro, Sheikh Maud Ali Omar, 44, the fattest man in the country, died of a chronic disease at a house in Kotabaru, Malaysia, around 12 p.m. on the 15th.

He weighed 420kg, and even if his family wanted to have a funeral, he could not move his body outside because of his weight.

In response, his sister asked for help from the emergency services.

When contacted, the rescue team dispatched a five-ton truck with hydraulic excavators and 20 personnel.

The rescue team first removed all the furniture and items in the yard of the house and put the truck on standby.

All 20 members and villagers then worked hard to move the body out of the room, washed the body, and drove it to the cemetery by truck. All the family members were patients, so the funeral was held in one day.

The funeral was all over at 11:20 that night.
