According to local media such as Thai PBS and Madichon Online, Thai Ratchaburi police were dispatched on the 18th after receiving a report that a man had been hit by a train on a bridge.
Police found the man's body about 200 to 300 meters away from the first crash site. In addition, about 200 meters away from the body, a bicycle, a camera stand, and a piece of bicycle helmet with severely damaged front wheels were found.
The man who died was 51 years old and working as an online English instructor. He was also active as a creator of TikTok content based on bicycles and travel.
According to the investigation, he left home at 7 a.m. to take his wife and daughter to work and school.
He told his wife he was going to film on the Chula Rongkorn Bridge on a bike that had been kept in the trunk of his car.
Based on on on-site evidence and his wife's testimony, police believe the man was hit by a train while filming a video on the track.
The cell phone found showed him installing a camera on the track at around 7:30 a.m.
The police judged that the accident occurred without hearing the train approaching while filming.
