In the 11th episode of tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Player 2: The War of the Players' (played by Park Sang-moon and Choi Seul-ki, directed by Ji So-hyun), Kang Ha-ri (Song Seung-heon) who used the final villain Jeffrey Jung (Kim Kyung-nam) to fall into the trap he gave was thrown.
Accordingly, the 11th ratings averaged 4.0% and 4.5% based on households in the metropolitan area, and recorded 4.1% and 4.8% on average based on households nationwide, ranking first in cable and general service channels both in the metropolitan area and nationwide (based on paid platforms integrating cable, IPTV, and satellite/provided by Nielsen Korea).
Jeffrey Jung's Suhadex (Ko Yoon) raided the players' hideouts during the broadcast. This time, they tried to get rid of those who continued to pick up what they were doing, but the fighters ran away after a fierce battle. In the process, Lim Byung-min (Lee Si-eon) was hit by a knife and was in crisis, and Do Jin-woong (Tae Won-seok) also struggled with a strong opponent, but Shin Woo-young (Im Seul-ong), who had a relationship in Thailand, made a surprise appearance as a mercenary and was able to save his life by helping them.
Afterwards, Kang Ha-ri visited Jung Soo-min (Oh Yeon-seo), who lived only with alcohol, in a sense of betrayal of President Choi Sang-ho (Cho Seong-ha) and informed him of the current situation. In addition, when he handed over the data to Jung Soo-min, Choi Sang-ho also persuaded him by informing him that the purpose of destroying Jeffrey was the same, and Jung Soo-min returned after consideration and resumed the operation.
In the meantime, Jeffrey Chung succeeded in privatizing the railroad and began to show his ambition in earnest. He made a plan to purchase public enterprises one by one by creating his own cartel with powerful people from all walks of life and tried to put the Republic of Korea under his thumb. In particular, it caused negative public opinion, so he tried to suppress those who opposed him by planning a real bombing, starting with turning protesters into terrorists.
Kang Ha-ri, who was catching this quickly before anyone else, was dispatched to the scene where they were planning a terrorist attack. At the event, where countless citizens were invited, players scattered around their seats and searched for the location of the bomb, and Jeffrey also planted traps everywhere because he thought a gang of people would appear at the site.
Eventually, he could not find the bomb, but Lim Byung-min went up to the podium during the event, grabbed the microphone, and announced that there was a bomb and evacuated people. Kang Ha-ri, who belatedly discovered the bomb hidden in the venue where people were leaving, narrowly cut off the line connected to the timer and managed to prevent the explosion, creating a chewy tension.
However, Kang Ha-ri faced another unexpected situation when Jeffrey Jeong, who failed to plan, decided to buy the prosecutor to make Kang Ha-ri a suspect. In addition, President Choi Sang-ho's illegal slush fund corruption was suddenly disclosed to the world, and Kang Ha-ri admitted his alleged terrorist crimes in front of numerous reporters, raising viewers' doubts about the unpredictable development.
But all of this was also a big picture of Kang Ha-ri and Choi Sang-ho. Choi Sang-ho said at a press conference that the person who gave him the money was from NQ Infrastructure Capital, a Jeffrey justice company, and Kang Ha-ri also admitted to his crime in front of numerous reporters and said Jeffrey Chung was behind it. Questions are rising as to whether those who reversed the situation by reversely using Jeffrey Jeong-soo, who was trying to put themselves in crisis, will be able to completely destroy Jeffrey Jung.
Song Seung-heon's last shot, which tries to break down the great evil with a change of ideas like a genius con artist, will be revealed in the last episode of tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Player 2: The War of the Gangs', which will air on the 9th.
