BLACKPINK Celebrates 8th Anniversary with 'BORN PINK' Film Event

BLACKPINK has thrilled fans worldwide by announcing a significant event to mark the 8th anniversary of their debut. 

According to YG Entertainment on the 26th, BLACKPINK will attend the production presentation of the film 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR BORN PINK IN CINEMAS' at Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, on August 9.

The event, organized to commemorate the release of the live film of the 'BORN PINK' world tour, will be held against the backdrop of the iconic BLACKPINK carpet. Celebrating their eighth anniversary this year, BLACKPINK plans to visit in person and engage more closely with fans.

The four members—Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—will be present at the theater to express their gratitude. Since the world tour finale performance in September last year, this will be the first time in about 11 months that the entire group gathers, expected to elicit an enthusiastic response.

The pink carpet event will be open to BLACKPINK Weverse membership subscribers, moviegoers, and CGV Instagram event participants. Detailed application methods and periods can be found through BLACKPINK Weverse, the CGV homepage, and CGV social channels. Reservations for stage greetings will be available through CGV's website, mobile apps, on-site ticket offices, and kiosks from 2 p.m. on August 2.

Meanwhile, 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR BORN PINK IN CINEMAS' will be released on the 31st, showcasing the live performance of the 'BORN PINK' world tour finale at Gocheok Sky Dome in Gocheok-dong, Seoul. The movie will be screened in more than 110 countries, including Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom, marking the highest record for live girl group performances.
