Jin to Launch First Solo Entertainment Show 'Run Jin' on August 13

BTS member Jin is launching his first solo entertainment show since his debut.

At 9 p.m. on the 30th, Jin posted a pre-released video of his own entertainment show 'Run Jin' on BTS's official YouTube channel. 'Run Jin' features Jin challenging various activities with the mindset of 'I can do anything' to show his appreciation for ARMY's love.

The pre-released video captures Jin's reflections after meeting fans during BTS's '2024 FESTA' on June 13th, commemorating the group's debut. As Jin got into the car after the event, he told the production team, "if ARMYs are happy, what's wrong with having a hard time? If you say let's go to Mt. Halla, I can go there." Despite his initial enthusiasm, Jin's confidence wavered upon learning that the first episode would involve climbing Mt. Halla, a plan he had suggested during a pre-meeting. His reaction of bewilderment and resignation provided a big laugh, showcasing his charm and humor.

Fans who watched the pre-released video expressed high expectations for Jin's solo show, appreciating his strong entertainment skills. Jin has previously shone in BTS's own content 'Run BTS,' SBS's 'Running Man,' Park Myung-soo's YouTube channel 'Hal Myung-soo,' and Lee Young-ji's 'No Prepare.' Particularly, the 'No Prepare' episode featuring Jin became extremely popular, surpassing 10 million views on YouTube within four days of its release and reaching over 24 million views by 1 p.m. on the 31st.

'Run Jin,' showcasing Jin's wit and charisma, will premiere its first episode on the global superfan platform Weverse at 9 p.m. on August 13. An hour later, it will be available on BTS's official YouTube channel. Subsequent episodes will be released every Tuesday at the same time.
