Director Isao Yukisada directed his first Korean film, "Please watch the new challenge"

KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday drama "Perfect Family," which will premiere at 9:50 p.m. on August 14, is based on a popular webtoon of the same name as a mystery thriller drama in which a happy and perfect-looking family becomes increasingly suspicious of each other due to the murder of their daughter.
"The Perfect Family" is the first Korean drama directed by Isao Yukisada that has drawn attention by sweeping various film festivals. As he is curious about how he, who has mainly directed movies, will melt various elements of the drama through 'Perfect Family', he is looking forward to the birth of 'Perfect Family', which will be a new challenge for director Isao Yukisada.
Director Isao Yukisada directly revealed the reason for directing the work. "I was interested in Korean dramas from the beginning, so I wanted to see Korean staff and actors up close," he said. "I like works that focus on the dark side of humans among Korean movies and dramas, and this was the case with the original cartoon of the drama. I thought it was fun to see the unknown truth of the family in turn, and it was fun to see the development from the image of youth to mystery and human drama," he said.
Director Isao Yukisada, who directed a lot of movies, was also able to hear the hardships he felt while directing the drama. "Because I am a film director, I was embarrassed at the beginning of filming because I did not know the speed of drama production in the first place. I realized that I couldn't control everything as I thought, so I left a lot of things to staff and actors""Especially, I got a lot of help from the cinematographer. The location was suddenly changed due to the change of schedule, and the director made a great picture with the lighting director by quickly judging how to shoot it on the spot," he added.
Regarding the directing points, director Isao Yukisada said, `First of all, casting was important. Basically, after listening to the actors' thoughts and understanding their will, they directed them not to interfere with the expression of Koreans' emotions. "I paid a lot of attention to the house set because the way the family existed was the theme of the play, and I was obsessed with how to shine light because I thought that shadow expression could visualize the actors' psychology."I raised my curiosity about the play.
Finally "This drama is a story about the way family bonds exist. I hope it will be delivered to drama fans not only in Korea but also around the world. I hope the movie fans will also watch my new challenge."
