(G)I-DLE Wraps Up Successful Klaxon Activities

(G)I-DLE has successfully wrapped up their promotional activities for their latest mini album, 'I SWAY'. According to the Hanteo Chart released last week, the album, which features members Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua, sold 1,020,973 copies in its first week. Released on the 8th,'I SWAY' has quickly surpassed 1 million copies in sales, following the success of their 6th mini album, 'I Feel', and their 2nd full-length album, '2 (Two)'. With these achievements, (G)I-DLE has earned the impressive title of 'three-time million seller.'

On the second week of 'Klaxon' activities, (G)I-DLE performed on the 20th anniversary of 'M Countdown ', and Miyeon, the longest-serving MC, performed on the special stage. In addition to this, (G)I-DLE also performed 'Klaxon' on 'It's Live', KBS2 'Music Bank', MBC 'Show! Music Core' and '2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer.'

The 'Klaxon' point choreography challenge garnered significant attention, with (G)I-DLE participating alongside SISTAR's Hyolyn, singer Jay Park , actor Nam Ji-hyun, mixed martial artist Jung Chan-sung, and broadcaster Hong Seok-cheon. Notably, Jung Hyung-don entertained fans by teaching the members how to perform the 'Hon hon hon hon hon honk' part.

Additionally, Miyeon received nominations for the New Female Entertainer Award and the Popular Star Award at the 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards. She delivered a memorable performance with her group, adding to the significance of the occasion.

With their 7th mini album activities concluded, (G)I-DLE is set to embark on their '2024 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR "iDOL"'. The tour will begin with shows in Seoul on August 3 and 4, covering a total of 14 cities around the world.
