Director Kim Tae-gon "Mokpo → Works inspired by wild dogs we met during the long journey of the land in Seoul"('escape')

Director Kim Tae-gon, who directed the disaster film 『Escape: PRODUCT SILENCE" (hereinafter \"Escape", produced by Vlad Studio). He met with Sports Chosun in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 10th and explained the directing process of 'escape'.
Director Kim Tae-gon said "The previous work was 'Goodbye Single', and he was given a safe choice of comedy genre. There were also repetitions of familiar things. As a director, I wanted to take on a different challenge as a screenwriter. In fact, before challenging commercial films, he challenged various subjects and genres in independent films. After 'Goodbye Single', I got a lot of suggestions for comedy screenplay, but I wanted to try different genres of disaster action thrillers and other movies" he said.
He said "Escape" is a work I made when I was mentally struggling. At that time, I went on a walking tour from Mokpo to Seoul to organize my mind. It took about 20 days, but don't you think there are wild dogs as you walk along the national road? I remember being chased by a wild dog in the evening. There were 20 dogs, and the experience of being chased by the dogs remained intense. I wondered what it would be like to use this as a subject. I wondered if these dogs could have been able to live as someone's dogs. I wanted to put this in 'escape'."
'Escape' is a story of people struggling to survive out-of-control military experimental dogs released on the airport bridge on the verge of collapse after a series of crashes in thick fog. The late Lee Sun-kyun, Joo Ji-hoon, Kim Hee-won, Moon Sung-geun, Jesus Jung, Kim Tae-woo, Park Hee-bon, Park Joo-hyun, and Kim Soo-an appeared, and director Kim Tae-gon of 'Goodbye Single' took the megaphone. It will be released on the 12th.
