Director Kim Yong-wan, who directed the movie, is said to have immersed viewers in a single play by focusing only on solid scripts and characters themselves rather than visual techniques by showing delicate productions without genre limitations from comedy to mystery thrillers. Shortly after its release, 'Dolpung' also topped the category of 'Korea's TOP 10 Series' today.
