Based on the total number of movie theater admission tickets, at 2:06 p.m. today 'pilot' has surpassed 90,297 reservations, proving that summer theaters are expected to be audiences.
The pre-sale volume for the pilot is higher than that of the previous summer movie box office hits 'smuggling'(82,563), 'Hansan: The Appearance of the Dragon(79,647), and Cho Jung-seok's filmography hit 'Exit(35,176). 'Pilot' is chasing the booking rate of 'Deadpool and Wolverine' ahead of next week's Culture Day release.
Audiences who pre-watched the movie through the premiere are showing explosive reactions. In addition, fresh casting combinations of actors, from Cho Jung-seok, Lee Joo-myung, Han Seon-hwa, and Shin Seung-ho, to screen blue chips, are promoting all-time, stimulating audiences who have been waiting for Korean movies to see.
'Pilot' is a story about a man who became unemployed overnight in a star pilot and succeeded in re-employment after a drastic transformation.
