'Land of Happiness' is raising expectations for prospective audiences by confirming stage greetings on the 15th of Liberation Day and the weekend of August 17th and 18th.
Director Choo Chang-min, who directed 『The Land of Happiness』, Cho Jung-seok, a lawyer playing Jeong In-hoo who entered the trial, and Yoo Jae-myung, who plays Jeon Sang-doo, a leader of the joint force who moves the trial for power, will be present at the stage on Liberation Day and the weekend of the opening week. The Liberation Day stage greeting, the first stage greeting of the opening week, will begin at Lotte Cinema World Tower and extend to Megabox COEX, CGV Wangsimni, and CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall to meet the audience who have been waiting for the movie and express their gratitude in person, raising expectations for the movie.
In addition, the stage greeting on August 17 will start at Lotte Cinema Cheongnyangni, CGV Wangsimni, Lotte Cinema Konkuk University Entrance, Lotte Cinema World Tower, and Megabox COEX, followed by Lotte Cinema Gimpo Airport, Megabox Sangam World Cup Stadium, CineQ Sindorim, CGV Yeongdeungpo, and CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall to express their gratitude to the audience who visited the theater on a hot weekend.
Meanwhile 'Land of Happiness' is a film about Park Tae-joo, who was involved in the assassination of the president on Oct. 26, 1979, and Jeong In-hoo, a lawyer who entered Korea's worst political trial by defending him by orders from his superiors, and will be released on Aug. 14.
