TV CHOSUN's new weekend miniseries 'DNA Rubber' (script Jung Soo-mi, director Sung Chi-wook, production Highground, IP Box Media, and fan entertainment), which will premiere at 9:10 p.m. on August 17, is a five-gambal-dong romantic comedy in which Han So-jin, a genetic researcher who has failed numerous relationships, finally finds her mate through genes.
In 'DNA Rubber', Choi Si-won plays Shim Yeon-woo, an obstetrician and gynecologist who is superior to IQ and EQ'Social Intelligence', and Jeong In-seon plays Han So-jin, a researcher with Otaku temperament who is obsessed with finding perfect 'Genetic Pairings', giving a fresh 'Roco Chemistry' that freely moves between romance and comedy.
In this regard, as soon as Choi Si-won and Jeong In-sun meet, a two-shot of the first encounter with a shocking incident is captured and it attracts attention. In the play, Han So-jin (Jeong In-sun) advances toward Shim Yeon-woo (Choi Si-won) and fires an unidentified liquid spray. Shim Yeon-woo is surprised by Han So-jin's rushing move for the first time and blocks her face, but she is helpless by Han So-jin's quick action. Shim Yeon-woo then kneels down and looks devastated, drawing attention to what happened to Shim Yeon-woo and Han So-jin and what kind of aftermath will come to the two in the future.
Choi Si-won and Jeong In-sun stirred the atmosphere of the scene with a fantastic acting combination that fits well, even though it was their first acting breath while filming 'Sweet Slaughter First Meeting Two Shot'. Due to the dynamic scene, the two seriously shared their opinions on the mood and movement of the scene even before filming.
