TV CHOSUN's new weekend miniseries 'DNA Rubber' (written by Jung Soo-mi, directed by Sung Chi-wook, produced by High Ground, IP Box Media, and Fan Entertainment), which will premiere on August 17, is a romantic comedy in which Han So-jin, a genetic researcher who has failed numerous relationships, finally finds her mate through genes. Director Sung Chi-wook, who showed sensuous production with fantasy details in "Tomorrow" and "Cairos," and writer Jung Soo-mi, who was spotlighted for her lively character play in "Born Again," will join forces to deliver a different Rocco magic on the small screen in the second half of 2024.
In 'DNA Rubber', Choi Si-won plays Shim Yeon-woo, an obstetrician who is superior to IQ and EQ in 'Social Intelligence', Jeong In-seon plays Han So-jin, a researcher at the Otaku temperament-filled ' Beneficial Genetic Center' who is obsessed with finding perfect 'Genetic Pairings', and Lee Tae-hwan plays Seo Kang-hoon, a handsome firefighter who does not change his mind once, whether it is work or human.
In this regard, on the 8th, Choi Si-won, Jung In-sun, and Lee Tae-hwan are drawing attention by presenting a vague yet heart-throbbing teaser. In the 'Second Teaser', the relationship between Han So-jin (Jeong In-sun), who runs toward a partner of fate, and Shim Yeon-woo (Choi Si-won) and Seo Kang-hoon (Lee Tae-hwan), who are entangled, unfolds cheerfully and thrillingly, arousing curiosity.
