Ko Hyun-jung is turning into a serial killer! Working with Jang Dong-yoon, who is confirmed to appear in SBS drama 'Warts'

SBS's new drama `The Devil' (directed by Byun Young-joo/written by Lee Young-jong/planned studio S/produced by Merry Christmas, Mega Monster) is a crime thriller about a police son of a female serial killer nicknamed 'The Devil' who brutally murdered five men 20 years ago cooperating with his mother, whom he has hated all his life, to catch the culprit of the crime that mimics the crime of 'The Devil'. 'The Devil' is a remake of a French drama of the same name.
In the midst of this, on July 23, the two main characters who will lead 'Warts' were revealed. Actors Ko Hyun-jung (played by Jung In-shin) and Jang Dong-yoon (played by Cha Soo-yeol), who raise overwhelming expectations just by the name of the actor. First, Ko Hyun-jung appears as a serial killer who brutally killed five men 20 years ago in the play. Ko Hyun-jung is expected to win the hearts of viewers by showing the essence of a high-density crime thriller with her unique aura and meticulous acting skills.
Jang Dong-yoon is the son of a warts and plays the role of a police officer who jumps in to solve the murder of a warts imitation. Jang Dong-yoon's different transformation, who showed impressive performances in each work, is drawing attention. Above all, it is expected that the two actors will complete the unconventional subject of a collaborative investigation between a serial killer mother and a police son with what kind of passion and teamwork they will complete.
With the appearances of Ko Hyun-jung and Jang Dong-yoon, there is another reason why we can't miss 'Warts'. Indeed, it is a meeting of the production team that is powerful enough to be called 'Dream Team'. Director Byun Young-joo, who proved his sensuous directing ability through movies 'Milae', 'Ballet Class', 'Hwacha', etc., takes the megaphone of 'Wama'. In addition, writer Lee Young-jong, who wrote numerous hit screenplays such as 'Black House', 'Shadow Murder', 'Cold', 'Spring of Seoul' which drew 13.12 million viewers, and was in charge of adapting 'Crime City 2' and 'Hunt', will write the script for 'Warts'. It is expected that a well-made crime thriller will be born that will not only bring sweat to the hands but also the quality of the work.
Based on the solid original work, director Byun Young-joo, writer Lee Young-jong, actors Ko Hyun-jung and Jang Dong-yoon have completed a more perfect combination of 'warts'. The most anticipated film that will heat up Korea will air on SBS in 2025.
