 Son Seok-gu won the 'Night Fishing', the 28th Fantasia International Film Festival 'Best Editing Award'



The film 'Night Fishing', which caught the eye with its original technique, won the 'Best Editing Award' in the International Short Film Competition category at the 28th Fantasia International Film Festival.

The film 'Night Fishing' is a humanistic thriller about a mysterious incident at an electric vehicle charging station in the dark night.

'Night Fishing' won the Best Editing Award in the Jury-Selected International Short Competition category at the 28th Fantasia International Film Festival, which will be held from July 18 (Thursday) to August 4 (Sunday) in Montreal, Canada.



Director Moon Byung-gon has achieved another achievement for Korean short films since he won the Palme d'Or in short competition at the Cannes International Film Festival in 2013 for his first short film Safe. It is said that the beauty of fresh editing composed of a unique scene called the gaze of a car camera was excellent. On the other hand, the movie 'Night Fishing' is a hot topic that created 'Snack Movie' with the eyes of a car camera in order to sew through a new attempt that was not seen in previous movies, along with the unique subject of a man's mysterious incident at an electric vehicle charging station. It attracted more than 46,000 viewers for five weeks after its release, creating a sensation in the theater.
