Commentators Kim Jung-hwan and Kim Jun-ho watch the fencing men's sabre team try for the third consecutive Olympics.

On the 31st, the Korean men's sabre team will try to win its third consecutive title at the 2024 Paris Olympics, following its second consecutive team title at the 2012 London Olympics and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. It is also the challenge of Oh Sang-wook, a gold medalist in the individual competition, to win two gold medals in the competition. There was no men's sabre team event at the 2016 Rio Olympics. With Koo Bon-gil, Oh Sang-wook, Park Sang-won, Do Kyung-dong as members of this Olympics New Avengers, commentators Kim Jung-hwan and Kim Jun-ho, the main characters of the team gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, cheer for their juniors in the relay seat instead of the piste.

KBS2 will broadcast the men's sabre team event with commentators Kim Jung-hwan, Kim Joon-ho and caster Choi Seung-don from 7:40 p.m. that day. The team event will continue until dawn, and the bronze medal match will be held at 2:30 a.m. the next day and the final at 3:30 a.m.

South Korea is ranked No. 1 in the world in the men's sabre team event, and in this competition, Oh Sang-wook won the gold medal in the individual event from day one, raising his morale. In addition, it is a team that combines the rich experience of Koo Bon-gil, the eldest brother, and the spirit of Park Sang-won, the freshman Avengers, and Do Kyung-dong, making people expect a good performance more than ever.

KBS commentators Kim Jung-hwan and Kim Jun-ho of the men's sabre team in the previous competition are leading KBS's Paris Olympics broadcast. KBS, where the two were the commentators, proved that they were the top ratings of each game (Nilson Korea, hereinafter national standards) in the 32nd, 16th, and quarterfinals of the fencing men's sabre, which began on the afternoon of the 27th. In addition, Choi Se-bin of the women's sabre team defeated the current world No. 1 Emura Misaki 15-7 in the round of 16 individuals on the 29th, recording a solid top spot in fencing with an 8.5% rating.
