'Burning Sun' first reporter found guilty of sexual harassment' 'feel like standing in front of the hell gate' (PD Notebook)
Kim Sang-kyo, the informant who first reported the 'Burning Sun incident', expressed his feelings after the conviction of sexual harassment.

In MBC 'PD Notebook', which aired on the afternoon of the 2nd, 'Burning Sun, the story we missed' special was aired.

Kim Sang-kyo, who was sentenced to one year in prison and suspended for two years by the Supreme Court for violating the Sexual Violence Punishment Act last month, appeared on the show.

Kim Sang-kyo said "I think I'm going to lose my mind. It's like hell" expressed his feelings. He said "It's really hard. I thought I had lived a life that I shouldn't have gone through, but it's hard enough to want to die. "I feel like I'm standing in front of the hell gate every day" he said.

Kim Sang-kyo was put on trial in November 2018 on charges of sexually harassing three women and interfering with club work at Club Burning Sun. However, two of the three people who sued him were acquaintances of Mr. Jang, the sales director of Burning Sun, and the first complainant was a person who was close to the CEO of Burning Sun.

The police analyzed CCTV for more than three months to find evidence of Kim Sang-kyo's sexual harassment. In this regard, the lawyer in charge of the case said "There were claims that Kim molested five people for 10 minutes, but no one complained to Kim Sang-kyo even though there were so many victims." Was there any reason to investigate Kim Sang-kyo while using so much administrative power. The Burning Sun investigation has not made progress, but since it only investigates Kim Sang-kyo's case, it is common sense to think that it is 'weird.'"

MC announcer Oh Seung-hoon pointed out that `The police's meticulous investigation is not to blame, but it is questionable whether the police used public authority fairly in that the investigation into Kim Sang-kyo, who raised suspicions of graft assault by the police, was conducted unusually.'
