'The Land of Happiness' Yoo Jae-myung'Another Chun Doo-hwan? ''Spring of Seoul'Hwang Jung Min is scary'
Actor Yoo Jae-myung said "Jeon Doo-hwan, played by Hwang Jung-min, was scary."

On the morning of the 22nd, a press conference was held at the entrance of Lotte Cinema Konkuk University in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the production of political films 'Land of Happiness' (directed by Choo Chang-min, produced by Papas Film and Oscar 10 Studio). The production briefing session was attended by Cho Jung-seok as lawyer Jeong In-hoo, who does everything in his power to make a legitimate trial, Yoo Jae-myung as Jeon Sang-doo, the head of the joint chief of the center of huge power who eavesdrops on the trial in a closed room and controls the results, Jeon Bae-soo as trial lawyer Boo Han-myung, Song Young-kyu as trial lawyer Choi Yong-nam, Choi Won-young as military prosecutor Baek Seung-ki, and director Choo Chang-min.

Yoo Jae-myung said of the comparison with the Chun Doo-kwang character played by Hwang Jung-min in 『Seoul's Spring』 (23, directed by Kim Sung-soo)."The word cinematic imagination comes to mind. Looking at the story development process by imagination, the character will naturally come to mind. Our movie is a symbol of national power. It will be different from the "Spring of Seoul" and it will be fun to compare our movie's own cinematic imagination. I think each of them has a charm of a movie. We struggled to find our movie's unique charm. The movie 'Spring in Seoul' is also a wonderful actor and director who did his best to create his own charm. Watching Hwang Jung-min's acting was scary. Chun Doo-hwan, who I played, is a character who walks a tightrope in the middle. He tried to reveal the symbolic part without harming the whole work. I tried to act so that the times could be seen well.'

'Land of Happiness' is a story of a secretary accompanying the intelligence chief who was involved in the assassination of the president by orders of his superiors and a lawyer who entered Korea's worst political trial by defending him. This film depicts the true story of Army Colonel Park Heung-joo, who was involved in the murder of former President Park Chung-hee on Oct. 26, 1979, and lawyer Tae Yoon-ki, who defended him. Cho Jung-seok, Lee Sun-kyun, and Yoo Jae-myung appeared, and director Choo Chang-min of 'Gwanghae, The Man Who Became King'7 Years' Night' took the megaphone. It will be released on August 14.
