“Zico’s Artist” to Wrap Up in Early September

According to Sports Chosun, KBS2's music talk show "The Seasons - Zico's Artist" will air its final episode in early September, marking the end of its current season.

ZICO's Artist, which premiered on April 26, has featured a variety of K-pop idols and artists from different genres. Notable guests have included Kiss of Life, NCT's Doyoung, Boy Next Door, Zero Base One, N.Flying, (G)I-DLE, as well as artists like Crush, Kim Yoon-ah, Lee Mu-jin, 10CM, Stella Jang, Wonstein, Bada, HYB, PEPPERTONES, and HANRORO.

The show gained significant attention for its special stages featuring actors and entertainers rarely seen on typical music programs, including Rain, Lee Yong-jin, Suzy, and Park Bo-gum. In June, pop star Billie Eilish made a surprise appearance on Zico's Artist, where she expressed her fondness for her Korean fans and warmly interacted with MC Zico.

As Zico's Artist prepares to say goodbye, it will conclude its season after about five months on air. The show is part of the annual 'The Seasons project', where each season is hosted by a different MC for a year. Zico, following previous hosts Park Jay Park, Jannabi's Choi Jung-hoon, AKMU, and Lee Hyori, will soon pass the baton to a new host for the upcoming season.

The production team has completed guest recruitment for the show's final recording and is working hard to wrap up the season. The 13th episode of Zico's Artist will air on July 26, featuring FT Island, The Quiett, and NCT 127. The show will be temporarily suspended from July 26 to August 11 due to coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympics. Zico's Artist airs every Friday at 10 p.m. on KBS2.
