Apple TV+'s new documentary series "Welcome to K-Pop: Idol Story" unveils the fierce reality of K-Pop artists striving for perfection. The series, which contains six episodes, will be released worldwide on August 30 (Fri).

"Welcome to K-Pop: Idol Story" provides an in-depth look at the backstage efforts of artists who risk everything for a flawless performance in the demanding world of K-Pop. The series captures the culture that has dominated global music charts and created a massive phenomenon, raising fans' expectations by realistically portraying the struggles and dedication of these artists.

The documentary features a variety of stories from notable K-Pop figures, including Jessi, known for her unique voice, as well as groups like CRAVITY and Black Swan. The series highlights their challenges, achievements, and the relentless pursuit of their dreams, showcasing their passion, creativity, and determination to overcome musical barriers.

Executive produced by Emmy Award-winning Matador Content's Jay Peterson and Todd Rubin, who previously worked on the Apple TV+ documentary "Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry," the series also includes contributions from Jack Turner, Bradley Cramp ("Road to War"), Su Kim ("The Speed Cubers"), Eric Kim ("The Undoing"), Chris Kasick ("Citizen Sleuth"), and Ellis Chung ("Bling Empire").

"Welcome to K-Pop: Idol Story" promises realistic and compelling stories of K-Pop artists, and it will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ starting August 30 (Fri).
