On the afternoon of the 13th, a production presentation for TV CHOSUN weekend miniseries 'DNA Rubber' was held somewhere in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by Choi Si-won, Jeong In-sun, Lee Tae-hwan, Jung Yoo-jin, and director Sung Chi-wook.
TV CHOSUN 'DNA Lover' is a romantic comedy in which Han So-jin (Jeong In-sun), a genetic researcher who has failed numerous relationships, finally finds her mate through genes. One day, Shim Yeon-woo (Choi Si-won), an obstetrician and gynecologist with a 99.99% probability, appeared in front of Sojin, and Kang Hoon (Lee Tae-hwan), a man who always protected her behind Sojin. The journey to find the true 'DNA Rubber' of Sojin in various episodes will be depicted.
In the play, Choi Si-won plays Shim Yeon-woo, an obstetrician and gynecologist who explodes affection when in a relationship, but becomes cold and harsh when arranging emotions.
Choi Si-won, who has distinguished himself in acting in romantic comedy genres such as `She Was Pretty' and `Drunker City Women" is the first romantic comedy-drama to be presented on TV CHOSUN. In response, Choi Si-won said, `Thank you for creating a great opportunity with great excitement, and director Sung Chi-wook is more sensible, pleasant, and meticulous than other works. I was able to finish the shoot with joy and joy every time I worked on it," he said.
In the meantime, "In this work, my job was an obstetrician and gynecologist, so I could understand a little bit of the hardships of mothers and pregnant women, and I talked a lot with doctors who asked me." It is a little different from previous works, but he is also a character who has a simple but complex characteristic inside.
Then, at the beginning of the work "It was so hard to play the role of a bad man" He joked that the director who entrusted him with this kind of acting was so resentful that he turned the scene into a sea of laughter. In the meantime, "It seems to be a drama that looks at social problems with a warmer perspective. My character meets a character named Han So-jin and changes, and I think it would be good if you could focus on that."
