Yoo Jae-myung recently met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, saying, `It is true that I had a hard time preparing my work,' and added, `Whenever I did, I shared my pain with the actors.'
Disney+, U+Mobile TV 'No Way Out: The Roulette' (hereinafter 'No Way Out') which was first released on the 31st of last month is a drama about the fierce battle between humans without an exit as a 20 billion won public murder contract broke out in the life of Kim Kook-ho, a rare felon. The movie was directed by Choi Kook-hee and Lee Hu-bin, who was the assistant director of the movie Hit-and-Ban, and was written by Lee Soo-jin.
Yoo Jae-myung commented on his feelings about the release of the work "I worked on about 12 episodes every time, but it felt short because I worked on 8 episodes. I've only seen the 4th part so far, but I think you can look forward to the 5th to 8th parts as well. However, there is always a regret about my acting. This is an inevitable fate, and after it's over, I always make progress based on regret and proceed with the next work."
Playing Kim Kook-ho, who became the target of the national murder conviction in the play, he said, `It's a cautious expression, but there were a lot more provocative scenes in previous dramas and movies"I wanted to act more realistic and realistic than expressing only stimulating things. 'No Way Out' has a lot of characters, and because the story is on the big side, actors have tried a lot to find their own details.'
'No Way Out' originally decided that the late Lee Sun-kyun would play the role of police Baek Joong-sik, but he got off in October last year due to suspicion of taking drugs. Yoo Jae-myung said "It was unfortunate and a lot of things happened at the scene, but it was also true that it was difficult. Still, many people joined forces to make a good work"At that time, I shared my pain with my colleagues," he recalled.
He then revealed his deep affection and trust for Cho Jin-woong, who was substituted for his work. Yoo Jae-myung said, "'The War on Crime: The Bad Men's Golden Age' followed by 'No Way Out' and was reassuring to have Cho Jin-woong. I trusted him because he played a lot of detective roles and bold acting. I was close to him because he was from Busan, and Jinwoong was in Seoul before me, so I cheered for him a lot," he said.
On August 14, the movie 'Land of Happiness', which he collaborated with Ko Sun-kyun, will be released. Accordingly, Yoo Jae-myung plans to perform an unconventional villain acting transformation in 'No Way Out' followed by 'Happiness Land'. He "Somehow, I got to release the work almost at the same time. Both of them are villains, but they are completely different works of resolution, so I'm happy as an actor because I can show you various charms." Rather than always trying to find a good role, I did my best in the given role, but I want to play a good role next time"I hoped.
Meanwhile, 'No Way Out' is released every Wednesday on Disney+, U+ Mobile TV.
