Actor Go Ah-sung recalled his first impression of the movie I Hate Korea.

Goh Go-seong met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 22nd and said, `The inspiration of the title seems to be different every year.'

Go Ah-sung, who first received the scenario in 2020, told his acquaintances that a movie titled `Because I Hate Korea' came in after the release of the movie 'Resistance: Story of Yu Gwan-sun, and he said 'What if you don't like Korea when you are Yu Gwan-sun?' My first impression of the title was like that (laughs). At a time when COVID-19 was long in 2020, there was a proud perception that Korea was good at preventing COVID-19. It seems that the inspiration of the title varies from time to time every year. Recently, while watching the Olympics and cheering for the athletes, he said, `I have to come out with a movie 'I hate Korea, what should I do?''

He also did not leave out the story of the original work. Goa-seong was just near the bookstore when he heard that the proposal for the work had been received. I bought a book right on the spot and read it all on the spot because it was so fun. After that, I read the scenario the next day, and I immediately understood the movie part that the director was pursuing. I also read the novel a day earlier than the scenario, so when I read the novel, I had a strong impression of Gye-na."

In addition, this year marks the 20th anniversary of his debut, and he also mentioned the secret of his steady acting career. He said "I've been active for a long time, so I know what my pace is. I tend to take a rest when I feel exhausted if I do more than this. I like to work hard, but I worked hard with the goal of working long time," he said.

『I Hate Korea』, which will be released on the 28th, is based on Jang Kang-myung's best-selling novel, which tells the story of Gina (Go Ah-sung) in her late 20s who suddenly leaves her job, family, and boyfriend for New Zealand alone one day in search of her happiness. Director Jang Geon-jae of the films 'Sleepy Night' and"Fantasia in the Midsummer' took the megaphone. Goa-sung played the main character, Gina, who left for New Zealand.
