Unlike Moon Sang-ho, who admitted his fault and accepted disciplinary action, Jeong Hye-young insisted on her innocence and was eventually taken to the hospital. Shin Cha-il was surprised by the news that she tried to make an extreme choice, so she ran to the hospital where Jeong Hye-young was hospitalized, and Jeong Hye-young's father, President Jung (Hong Seo-joon), began to use abusive language toward the audit team. Kim Man-soo took responsibility for all embezzlement and killed himself in return for treating his wife's illness.
Koo Ja-soo and Yoon Seo-jin, who confirmed that Kim Man-soo's death was not due to Shin Cha-il's audit, secured testimony from other employees that it was President Jung who informed Kim Man-soo's wife of Shin Cha-il's location, and that Jung Hye-young's suicide attempt was a self-made play to undermine Shin Cha-il. Seo Hee-jin, who confirmed Shin Cha-il's innocence based on all circumstances, reported to Hwang that there was no problem with Shin Cha-il's audit, ending the situation neatly.
Shin Cha-il, who returned to work after washing up all the suspicions, gave a heartwarming thank-you to the new employees who helped him. He then delivered a sincere apology to Kim Man-soo's wife, making her heart ache.
