Choi is expected to deliver the charm of romantic comedies by playing the lead role in TV CHOSUN's new weekend miniseries 'DNA Rubber'.
'DNA Rubber' is a work about genetic researcher Han So-jin (played by Jeong In-seon) finding a mate through genes.
Shim Yeon-woo, played by Choi Si-won, is an obstetrician and gynecologist who is friendly to patients but cynical about dating and fate. This aspect of him is stimulating viewers' curiosity about how he will be entangled with Han So-jin, who plays the role of Jeong In-seon. Choi Si-won has been loved by the audience for his unique acting in various genres, and this work heralds a new transformation.
Choi Si-won expressed his feelings about filming, saying, `I'm excited to meet the viewers as Shim Yeon-woo, and I have high expectations for the work.'
Director Sung Chi-wook of 'Tomorrow', 'Kairos', and writer Jung Soo-mi of 'Born Again'DNA Rubber' will premiere on TV CHOSUN on Aug. 17.
