Hur Mi-mi competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics and won a silver medal in the women's 57kg or less judo. In addition to winning silver in the individual event, she won two medals in the event, adding bronze in the mixed team event.

In particular, Heo Mi-mi was born to a Korean father in Japan and a Japanese mother and grew up as a multiple national in Japan. However, in accordance with my grandmother's will, I gave up my Japanese citizenship in 2021 and chose Korean citizenship.
