Genie TV's original drama starring Ko Hyun-jung will air in the second half of this year.

'Namib' depicts a star-burning project between Kang Soo-hyun (played by Ko Hyun-jung), a fired star producer, and Yoo Jin-woo (Ryeoreun), a released long-term trainee. It captures the process of the two characters going beyond emptiness and anxiety to achieve a new harmony.

Ko Hyun-jung plays Kang Soo-hyun, a former co-chairman of Pandora Entertainment and a star producer, and appears as a person who fights for her son even after being kicked out of the company. Ryeo-woon plays Yoo Jin-woo, a long-term trainee who is selected by Kang Soo-hyun and goes through training to become a star. In addition, Yoon Sang-hyun will play the role of Kang Soo-hyun's husband and former music producer Shim Jun-seok, and Lee Jin-woo will play the role of Shim Jin-woo, the son of Kang Soo-hyun and Shim Jun-seok, to add depth to the drama.

The way they overcome the difficulties they face in each other's lives and grow together is expected to impress and empathize with many viewers. Attention is focusing on how Kang Soo-hyun, Yoo Jin-woo, Shim Jun-seok, and Shim Jin-woo's journey to different hardships and dreams of life will be depicted.

Actor representing Korea, including Ko Hyun-jung, Ryeo-woon, Yoon Sang-hyun, and Lee Jin-woo, have confirmed their appearances in the `Namib,' drawing attention from new actors. It will be broadcast on Genie TV, Genie TV Mobile, and ENA.
