The production presentation of the Apple TV+ original series 'Pachinko Season 2' (directed by Lee An-wellham, Jin Jun-rim, and Lee Sang-il) was held at Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 23rd. Yoon Yeo-jung, Lee Min-ho, Kim Min-ha, Jung Eun-chae, and Kim Sung-kyu attended the event.
Lee Min-ho said "Three days before the shooting, Moonwalk was suddenly added. I think it was added because it was a scene connected to teenagers. The dance doesn't seem difficult to watch, but it was very difficult for me. I practiced hard for three days and danced."
There are many videos of Kim Min-ha practicing with great nervousness right before filming. I don't know why, but I remember being very nervous, especially when babies dance. The images that they didn't know how to do were memorable. When the music turned on, they danced almost as if they were competing among themselves. It was so much fun."
Kim Sung-kyu, who joined this season, said, `Rather than dancing well, I was worried about joining because it was a part where I could cheer and enjoy the facial expressions that could not be seen in the story as a viewer of season 1. I once got stuck dancing in an elevator the day before I filmed the sequence under the pressure. About an hour and a half. There was an episode like that."
Pachinko 2 is a series based on the New York Times bestselling book of the same name, released in 2022. 'Pachinko' is a chronicle of four generations of love and survival through the eyes of Seon-ja (Yoon Yeo-jeong, Kim Min-ha), a strong mother who has rooted in an unfamiliar land to live proudly for herself. Season 1 of 'Pachinko', which warmly captures epic poems unfolding between Korea, Japan, and the United States, proved its workability by dominating the world's leading award ceremonies, including the Critics Choice Awards and Gotham Awards.
Season 2 of 'Pachinko' has a total of eight episodes, with one episode being released every Friday on Apple TV+, starting on the 23rd.
