Park Ji-hwan is back with the original TVing series 'Queen Wu'. Released on the 29th, 'Queen Wu' is a chase action historical drama in which Queen Wu, who has been targeted by princes seeking the throne and five tribes seeking power due to the sudden death of the king, struggles to establish a new king within 24 hours.
In the play, Park Ji-hwan played the role of a great modal (chief) Mugol of Wangdang, the direct unit of the king. His Mugol is a loyal armament that has led to victory in a long war by keeping the side of the king, Ko Nam-moo (Ji Chang-wook) like a shadow. Park Ji-hwan tried to make another transformation through the Mughal character. Putting down the joy of blooming laughter for a while, he is equipped with intense charisma all over his body. This was confirmed in 'Queen Wu' Part 1.
Mugol (Park Ji-hwan), who appeared on the battlefield, exuded bravery. His footsteps rushing toward the enemy camp were full of spirit, and his eyes were filled with strong determination while watching the opponent's trends. When he saw the outstanding martial arts here, the dignity of the intrepid warrior was revealed and overwhelmed everyone.
Park Ji-hwan's fiery performance also caused excessive immersion. The tears of Mugol that he shed the moment he learned of Ko Nam-moo's death caused regret. This is because the regret, guilt, and sadness of not being able to protect the king who was with him for a long time came out intact. His tears, mixed with complex emotions, approached more intensely than many words, making viewers' eyes sour.
Since then, Mugol has added weight to the development full of urgency. He felt a grave determination to protect Queen Woo-hee (played by Jeon Jong-seo), who is in the middle of a power scramble. It amplified the question of whether Mugol, who mobilized all of his combat power, would be able to protect the queen safely.
As such, Park Ji-hwan also shone in 'Queen Wu'. While increasing the fun with the enthusiastic performance that achieved the unity of the kingdom, his strong presence firmly held the center of the play and gave off enormous power as an actor.
