Actor Yoon Kye-sang is drawing attention by showing a strong acting transformation in the Netflix series 'In the Forest Where No One's at'. In this work, he lost 14 kilograms in three weeks to digest the character that passed 20 years, showing his passion beyond his limits.

Yoon Gye-sang met with Sports Chosun at a certain place in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 26th and shared the behind-the-scenes story of filming 'In the Forest Where No One Is' and expressed his deep affection for the work.

'In a Forest With No One's Home' is a suspense thriller about people whose peaceful daily lives collapse due to a suspicious guest who comes in midsummer and gets caught up in an uncontrollable event. Yoon Kye-sang played Sang-joon, the owner of Lakeview Motel, in the play, showing an unfamiliar but intense performance.

Yoon Kye-sang made special efforts to play the role of the elderly in this work. He wondered how to express Sang-jun, who appeared as a grandfather 20 years later in the second half of the play"Sangjun, who lost his wife and fell into a sense of loss, decided to lose weight because he thought he needed an external change when he appeared after a long time." he said. Then "I lost 14kg in three weeks because the director was worried that "You look too young". I starved to eat only one chicken breast a day, but I had no health problems," he said. Through this decision, Yoon Gye-sang effectively expressed the deep sense of loss and change of the character Sang-jun.

In addition, he said he even considered changing his voice tone while preparing for acting for the elderly. However, he decided that it would be better to act in his usual voice, fearing that it would be obvious that he was acting"I put more energy into concentrating on the emotions in the script." Yoon Kye-sang added that he had no regrets because he performed his best at the time of filming, and said he hoped that the change and pain of Sang-jun's character were well communicated to viewers.

In the interview, Yoon Kye-sang also praised actors Ko Min-si and EXO's Chanyeol. Although she did not have direct acting chemistry with Ko Min-si, Yoon Kye-sang praised her performance saying, `It is not easy to act as a psychopath, but Ko Min-si did a very good job of acting instinctively.'
