A middle-aged female detective who casually shoots a handgun wearing only a T-shirt with a simple face without makeup, a dry hair, and sweat marks. Actor Lee Jung-eun (54), who fascinated viewers' eyes and ears as Yoon Bo-min, a middle-aged female detective, in the `In the Forest Where There Is No One,' delivered her honest thoughts on behind-the-scenes related to the work, acting with Ko Min-si and Chanyeol, and viewers' reviews that are divided between likes and dislikes.

Lee Jung-eun met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 27th and responded to an interview for the Netflix series `In the Forest Where There Is No One.'

'In a Forest With No One's Home' is a suspense thriller about people whose serene daily life collapses and becomes involved in an uncontrollable event due to a suspicious guest who comes to the middle of summer.

In the play, Lee Jung-eun plays Yoon Bo-min, a former ace in a violent class who relentlessly penetrates the case and thinks and solves the case as a kind of play.

Regarding the reason for choosing the work first, Lee Jung-eun explained, "It was interesting that two families running parallel lines met at one point, and it was attractive that there was a character called 'Bomin' in it."

As for the role of a middle-aged female detective who could not be seen in domestic works, "I've been waiting for this role."It has drawn attention.

Lee Jung-eun "I saw female actors who are said to be good at acting on Netflix and Meade play police or detectives from directors. As soon as I thought it would be nice to take on such a role for a long time, I was offered an offer, so I decided to appear."

He also said that he devoted himself to shooting practice and devoted himself to completing the character in relation to the fact that the Bo Min character is a good shooter. Lee Jung-eun "There are scenes of shooting from various angles, and I practiced by visiting Myeong-dong and Gyeonggi-do to shoot horror and live ammunition myself."Since there were not many scenes in which female police officers shot themselves, I tried to act as realistic as possible with the help of the shooting teacher."," he added.

In the play, Yoon Bo-min strongly shows his appearance as a middle-aged detective immersed in solving the case. Through this character, Lee Jung-eun said "The director loved how he wore a sweaty cotton T-shirt and focused only on the incident." She explained that she had put a lot of effort into styling to keep the character realistic and that "a friend named Bomin is a person who doesn't have time to put on makeup or smooth her hair, so she puts everything into solving the case.'

In this work, most of Yoon Bomin's stories were omitted, but Lee Jung-eun created the character based on a deep understanding of it. He said "There are many gods that have been omitted even after filming because of the directing part. There is a scene where Bo Min lives her daily life with her husband and child, and she seems to have decided that such a choice was needed to highlight Bo Min's fierce concern about the incident in the play. At the same time, he laughed, saying, `I asked the director to make Yoon Bomin's story a separate spin-off.'

He then revealed that he was impressed with his acting skills with his junior Ko Min-si. He said, `On the day I filmed the police arresting Ko Min-shi, all the actors and staff members, including actor Kim Yoon-seok, were so tired of her performance that they were completely tongue-in-cheek," he recalled. "Her intense performance in her eyes was really impressive, and I felt something like an instinctive sense of murder in her hair-covered eyes."

He also mentioned his meeting with actor Chanyeol. Lee Jung-eun "She was an actor with a clear feeling. When I was filming the scene where I was returning the pictures I had in the play, I saw my eyes, and I felt like I had been waiting for this scene. While filming, I hope this friend will smile brightlyIt occurred to me that '," he said. Next, about actor Kim Yoon-seok "I had so much fun filming with my seniors. It doesn't take long to film. It was so nice.," he replied.

He also told a story about the reaction between likes and dislikes because of the directing scene, script, and narration of 'In a Forest with No One', which can be said to be somewhat unfriendly. Lee Jung-eun said, `Although there have been some concerns, it seems that the story that unfolds at a slow pace unlike the trend these days has been pushed honestly through director Mo Wan-il.'

In this regard, Lee Jung-eun also revealed that she looks for reactions to her work or role one by one. He said "I look at all the reactions related to the work. When I wake up in the morning, I look for the articles mentioned, and these days, I have a mindset to humbly accept those things."

Was there a memorable reaction or comment. Lee Jung-eun said, "What happened to Bo-min in relation to Ha Yoon-kyung, who played the role of 'Bomin' in her childhood. There's a response that says, 'I don't understand the reverse.' I also read the response that 'Lee Jung-eun's acting was good' and turned the scene into a sea of laughter.

Finally, Lee Jung-eun said that she is interested in the roles that are usually given to her as a challenge and plans to continue to play various roles in the future. It is expected that Lee Jung-eun, who once again re-established her own unique acting style through 'In the Forest Where No One's at', will take a future step.
