According to the police, Jang Won-sam was reversing in the first lane of a left turn on a road in Gwangan-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan, at around 1 p.m. on the 17th when he hit a vehicle behind him. Police were dispatched to measure Jang Won-sam's blood alcohol level, and the level of driver's license cancellation (more than 0.08%) was reported.
The police sent Jang Won-sam home for now because the accident was minor, and they will investigate him later and take care of him.
Jang Won-sam joined the Hyundai Unicorns in 2006 and retired in 2020 after playing as a pitcher for the Samsung Lions, LG Twins, and Lotte Giants. Currently, he is appearing on JTBC 'The Greatest Baseball'.
