The 42nd episode of KBS2's weekend drama `Beauty and the Pure Man" (scripted by Kim Sa-kyung, directed by Hong Seok-gu and Hong Eun-mi) recorded 20.5% of viewership (provided by Nielsen Korea, nationwide) and topped all programs aired on Sunday. The 2049 viewership, a topical indicator, also began to soar, hitting its own high of 3.7%.
