KBS2 Immortal Masterpiece impressed viewers with a special stage to reflect on the meaning of independence and the importance of historical views on the 79th anniversary of liberation.

The 668th episode of 『Immortal Songs』, which aired on the 17th, was decorated with a special feature of 『30th Anniversary Performance: Remember and Sing Park Kyung-ri』. Yang Hee-eun, Lee Jeok, Kim Yoon-ah, Na Tae-joo, U-Pacific X Kim Jun-su, Paul Kim, Lee Chan-won, Stacey, and the children's musical choir 'Smiling Child' made the stage reflecting on the meaning of liberation and the spirit of the country and the people contained in Park Kyung-ri's novel 'Land'.

According to viewer rating research firm Nielsen Korea, the 668th episode of 'Immortal Songs' recorded a national viewership of 4.9 percent, maintaining its stable popularity for 81 consecutive weeks, ranking first in the same time slot.



The performance, which was held with 3,000 audiences in Wonju, Gangwon-do, is a special plan for the 79th anniversary of liberation and is a meaningful time to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the completion of Park Kyung-ri's novel Land. The 3MC, who went on the Wonju stage on this day, explained the meaning of this special and helped viewers understand. Shin Dong-yup said "A special time to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the completion of the work 'Land', which marked a milestone in the history of world literature beyond Korea", and Lee Chan-won warmly welcomed the natives, saying "It was Wonju where Park Kyung-ri of the immortal epic novel 'Land" spent his last life."

In the first stage, Yang Hee-eun reflected on the meaning of liberation in Park Kyung-ri 'Tooji' with a strong voice. On the ensuing stage of 'Evergreen', he shouted 'Enlightened' and 'Green Day' to convey the message that this special wanted to convey, giving a great impression to viewers.



Stacey then captivated the audience with an energetic stage. They performed 'Cheeky Icy Thang', exuding intense and refreshing energy and receiving enthusiastic responses from the audience.
