The production presentation of the Apple TV+ original series 'Pachinko Season 2' (directed by Lee An-wellham, Jin Jun-rim, and Lee Sang-il) was held at Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 23rd. Yoon Yeo-jung, Lee Min-ho, Kim Min-ha, Jung Eun-chae, and Kim Sung-kyu attended the event.
Pachinko 2 is a series based on the New York Times bestselling book of the same name, released in 2022. 'Pachinko' is a chronicle of four generations of love and survival through the eyes of Seon-ja (Yoon Yeo-jeong, Kim Min-ha), a strong mother who has rooted in an unfamiliar land to live proudly for herself. Season 1 of 'Pachinko', which warmly captures epic poems unfolding between Korea, Japan, and the United States, proved its workability by dominating the world's leading award ceremonies, including the Critics Choice Awards and Gotham Awards.
`Pachinko' became an opportunity to show viewers around the world our history that had been suppressed Japanese colonial era. Yoon Yeo-jeong said, `I don't think actors are great, I tried to be faithful to the role. I think it was good to express a woman whose spirit was first to live a life without being vulgar even though this woman was a poor and poor woman. While filming, I asked Soji Arai (Korean name Park So-hee, played by Mo So-soo), who acted a lot together because he was a person living in a different generation throughout the shoot, about Zainichi's life. I think I cried at some point while listening to her. So I'm so grateful to learn that and listen to the real stories behind history. You didn't know too much about their lives, you didn't know the government, you lived in a time you didn't know too much about them. So I learned as much as I could while filming. In addition to what we learned in history class..."
Lee Min-ho "It seems that it was meaningful just to give great interest to a story that had not been noted and had not been interested in. From the next time I participated, I felt that Korea was a country with a lot of history due to the nature of the country, rather than following its historical calling, and I was grateful that we could exist thanks to the sacrifice of our ancestors. Thankfully, we live in an era where we can even access very private stories through various contents with a little effort. I think it means a lot just to look back on historical events and to be on the story of people who were marginalized by historical moments and lived unnoticed."

Unlike Season 1, a number of romances have been added this season. Lee Min-ho said, `Season 1 feels barren and dry, but in season 2, all characters are in love. Looking at such a script and what was completed, I think it makes us think about how important love is and how good energy and driving force it is in our lives."
In particular, Lee Min-ho and Kim Min-ha caught the eye by maintaining attraction beyond love in the play. Regarding the character 'tranger' (trash+lover), Lee Min-ho interpreted that he was with the Zen as a determined human and a strong human like me when he said that it would be better to approach it with more than just love since the first time I met him in season 1. I think the feeling continued because I thought I wanted to have that person and own it, not love. In fact, it occurred to me that it was a time when men and women were poor at understanding each other and didn't have to. Rather than understanding it from the perspective of the Zen master, I think the focus was on having it if I wanted it regardless of her. At the same time, I think I drew it as a person obsessed with the good man as my power was gained. If there was a single move in this era, you can't get a good evaluation. It is impossible in any way."

In addition, Lee Min-ho and Kim Min-ha's paternal love and motherhood between 'Noah' are also depicted. Kim Min-ha said "Motherhood was a really difficult homework. I asked my mom and grandmother a lot. For example, why does my mom like and love me so much? And ask. The answer was the same. You said it's 'because it' and I really touched it. Even when I went to the scene, when I saw the children, I wanted to protect them so naturally, and I learned a lot from them. As the emotions I felt for the first time were accumulated, I think I thought it was more enlightening and focused comfortably. It was really good with director Lee Sang-il. One of the things I remember is moving around the set and saying, 'I can't give upHe said, "'This is my story, so I will never let go of it.'" I was so touched. On the last day of filming, I got emotional. I was so thankful."

Expectations for Season 3 are rising among the actors as well as the fans who waited for Season 2. Kim Min-ha declined to comment on season 3, saying, `I hope so, too.'
