'Veteran2' Director "I don't know if the whole episode will be a big hit..The sequel took a long time"

On the morning of the 20th, a report on the production of the crime action film 'Veteran2' (directed by Ryu Seung-wan, produced by Foreign Oil Steel) was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The production briefing session was attended by the violent crime investigation team, Hwang Jung-min as Seo Do-cheol, a veteran detective who leads them, Jung Hae-in as Park Sun-woo, a police officer with instantaneous judgment and high martial arts skills, and director Ryu Seung-wan.
Director Ryu Seung-wan said, `I enjoyed the whole process of making the prequel. Both actors and staff had really good chemistry. In fact, I didn't know the whole episode would be very successful. It wasn't even a big movie at the time. Personally, I had a deep affection for the protagonist, Seo Do-cheol, and the people in the world in the movie, and it became deeper over time. I talked with Hwang Jung-min about wanting to make another work of this character. But I didn't know it would take this long."
Veteran 2 is a story about chasing a serial killer who caused a stir in the world when the youngest detective joined the veteran detective's violent crime investigation team to catch bad guys to the end. Hwang Jung-min and Jung Hae-in appeared, and director Ryu Seung-wan took the megaphone following the previous episode. It will be released on September 13.
