'Veteran2' Director "Why did the sequel take a long time? Avoid following the previous episode and select a new Jeong Hae-in."

On the morning of the 20th, a report on the production of the crime action film 'Veteran2' (directed by Ryu Seung-wan, produced by Foreign Oil Steel) was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The production briefing session was attended by the violent crime investigation team, Hwang Jung-min as Seo Do-cheol, a veteran detective who leads them, Jung Hae-in as Park Sun-woo, a police officer with instantaneous judgment and high martial arts skills, and director Ryu Seung-wan.
Director Ryu Seung-wan said, `One of the reasons it took so long is that I didn't want to follow the success of the previous film. It shouldn't be too new. It was hard to balance and needed a fresh face as a breakthrough. While looking for a new face for the detective team, I thought of Jung Hae-in in 'Start-up'. Not only the wandering young man, but also the sight of the son 'Mom Friend' suits him and catching the deserter. There were various faces, so I made a proposal to Jung Hae-in and gladly accepted it. He was a good mix and harmonize personality."
Jung Hae-in "I was so nervous when I first received the offer. I didn't know it was 'Veteran', and I was suggested that it was an interesting work, but I was really excited to hear that 'Veteran2' was later confessed.
Veteran 2 is a story about chasing a serial killer who caused a stir in the world when the youngest detective joined the veteran detective's violent crime investigation team to catch bad guys to the end. Hwang Jung-min and Jung Hae-in appeared, and director Ryu Seung-wan took the megaphone following the previous episode. It will be released on September 13.
