Park Chan-yeol played the role of Koo Ki-ho in the Netflix series 'In the Forest of No One', which tells the story of people whose peaceful daily life collapses due to a suspicious guest who comes to midsummer and gets caught up in an uncontrollable event.
Playing by Park Chan-yeol, Koo Ki-ho is the son of Koo Sang-joon (Yoon Gye-sang), who runs the Lakeview Motel, who experiences the collapse of his family in an instant after being caught up in an incident at the motel, and his heart is tied to the past.
Park Chan-yeol appeared with a child role and high synchro rate while wearing round glasses in the latter half of the play, catching the eyes of viewers at once, and also played the action of running tirelessly with a gun, revealing his presence as a scene stealer.
In particular, the main narration that penetrates the entire work is also naturally done with its unique mid-low tone and accurate diction, and it calmly conveys the feelings of Koo Ki-ho mixed with revenge and anger, helping him to immerse himself to the end of the play.
Park Chan-yeol asked the director a lot of questions and thought a lot about the life of the symbol to make "'Old symbol". It is an honor to work with good directors, writers, and seniors, just to participate. It's a work that I've learned so much. I was so happy when I filmed it. I was so thankful," he said.
Park Chan-yeol, who has been loved by global fans as an EXO member, released his first mini-album 'Black Out' (Black Out) on the 28th, predicting active solo activities. He is also taking on various challenges as an actor, such as 'Memories of Alhambra Palace', 'Missing Nine', 'Longevity Society', and 'The Box'.
